Environmentally friendly

Equipment on board our boats for eco-responsible tourism in Cambodia on the Tonle Sap river.

  • We are equipped with solar power supply during the day and in high-performance batteries at night
  • Monitoring of our energy consumption in a very regular way – Refrigerator and freezer class A +, 100% of our bulbs are energy saving, coffee makers without percolator

  • Establishment of a reuse program for towels and bed linen
  • Recycling aluminum (cans), iron and glass
  • There is no Cambodia for the moment of plastic recycling. Thus, we use on board only ecological and biodegradable plastic bags made from cassava (made by Cleanbodia, US NGO in Cambodia)
  • The drinkable water is packaged in 20-liter returnable cans to avoid disposable 50cl plastic bottles that can fall overboard
  • Our staff is regularly trained on green practices

  • All the treatments offered on board are BODIA toiletries, natural products made in Cambodia
  • Komput pepper from a the organic farm “Chamkar Damnak pepper
  • Khmer Organic Roasted Ratanikiri Coffee
  • Traditional quality mosquito nets made by local weavers in Prek Ta Meak
  • Promotion of Khmer handicrafts
  • Food supply in local markets and directly to fishermen
  • Sat Toung crew from the communities of floating villages crossed
  • Exclusive use of the boats of the crossed communities to visit the floating villages
  • Logistical support of a school above Kompong Chhnang
  • No monosodium glutamate on board
  • Intimate commitment to the NGO Ptea Clara – Children’s home in the province of Kandal
